World Tourism Day

Kenya joins the rest of the world in commemorating world tourism day. It is one of the favorite tourist destinations in East and Southern Africa.

Kenya is endowed with a beautiful coastline with activities that attract both local and international tourists. These include; watching and swimming with dolphins in Watamu to Shimoni, Deep sea fishing and humpback whale watching excursions in the months of June to September, kayaking along the Tudor Creek, and snorkeling where you explore underwater marine life.

The presence of National Marine Reserves: Mombasa Marine Park,  Chale Marine National Reserve, and Kisite Mputi Marine Park gives one an adventurous and unforgettable diving experience. Former CS tourism Najib Balala took to social media to wish Kenyans a happy world tourism day. “Let’s rethink tourism in the next 20 years,” he said. As he emphasized the use of technology and going green.
